Track AI agent actions. Improve the path to conversion.

LightSite combines infrastructure and analytics for agents that research, compare and act for people. Track page journeys, CTA clicks and form submissions. Use business information delivery, MCP and integrations to support the next step, then measure where journeys improve.

Infrastructure + analytics

Not just a journey report. A better path to action.

The journey shows where agents stop. LightSite infrastructure delivers business information, while MCP and integrations support connected workflows. Together, they help your team improve the information and task paths agents depend on.

Use that evidence to clarify an offer, simplify an action or improve a connected workflow. Then compare clicks and submissions after the change—and confirm leads, bookings or sales in the system that records them.

Explore business information delivery and the LightSite MCP connector. An integration is not a guarantee that every agent can complete every task.

The AI agent journey, from discovery to action

  1. Discovery: which AI crawlers request your pages, and how often.
  2. Referral: visits sent by ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and other recognized assistants.
  3. Engagement: the pages an agent opens, in order, with reading time and scroll depth.
  4. Action: CTA clicks, phone and email clicks, and form submissions.
  5. Evidence: the agent's declared identity, or the automation signals that were detected.

How agents are identified

When an agent declares itself (ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, Perplexity-User and others), LightSite records that identity. When an automated browser does not name its AI product, LightSite checks specific signatures for Playwright, Selenium and headless browsers and labels the visit an automated browser agent. It never assigns a brand name without evidence.

How do I optimize my site for AI agents?

  • Find where journeys stop, such as agents reaching pricing but never clicking the demo button.
  • Make actions easy to complete with clear button labels, simple forms and visible contact details.
  • Fund the entry pages that lead to clicks and submissions.
  • Confirm outcomes in your CRM or booking system.

A recorded action is not proof of a sale; completed bookings and purchases need confirmation from the transaction system.

Frequently asked questions

How do I optimize my site for AI agents?

Use journey evidence to find where agents stop, then improve business information, action labels and task paths. LightSite combines that measurement with business information delivery, MCP and integrations; confirm completed purchases in your checkout, booking or CRM system.

What is AI agent tracking?

AI agent tracking measures what automated AI visitors do on your website: the pages they open, the order they open them in, and actions such as CTA clicks, phone and email clicks, and form submissions.

How do I know what AI agents do on my site?

Use analytics that identifies AI agents and records their actions. LightSite shows each agent journey as a page sequence, with the action taken and the evidence behind the detection.

Can I track AI agent conversions or purchases?

LightSite records observable actions that signal intent, like a booking click or a form submission. A completed sale or booking needs confirmation from your CRM, booking or checkout system.

How can I track ChatGPT agents visiting my website?

LightSite recognizes declared ChatGPT agent identities, supported browser automation signals, and visits referred from ChatGPT, then records what happened on the site.

Can Google Analytics track AI agents?

Google Analytics can measure some AI-referred human visits and the events you configure. It does not identify AI agents or keep automation evidence with each action.

How is this different from AI bot analytics?

AI bot analytics shows which AI systems visit and which pages they read. Agent journey tracking shows what agents do next: the clicks, calls, emails and form submissions.

Does LightSite read what an agent types into a form?

No. LightSite records that a submission happened and may record the button label. It does not collect form contents, uses no cookies, and does not change how your site looks.
